Zero is operated by Kevin Tai ("Zero," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Zero application and related services.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect:
- Account information (name, email)
- App data you create (leads, escrows, tasks, notes, next actions)
- Calendar data (only if you connect Google Calendar)
- Device and log data (device type, app version, error logs)
We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers.
2. CALENDAR DATA
If you connect Google Calendar:
- We access only the calendars you authorize
- We read and write events related to Zero
- We store sync tokens to keep data up to date
Zero never accesses, modifies, or deletes calendar events that are not explicitly related to escrow deadlines or tasks created through the app.
You can disconnect Google Calendar in Zero under Settings, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
3. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable notifications:
- We store a push token or device identifier
- Used only to send deadline reminders and task alerts
You can disable notifications at any time in the app Settings or through your device's notification settings.
4. PAYMENTS
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe.
- Zero does not store your full credit card number
- Stripe handles all payment data securely

5. HOW WE USE DATA
We use your data to:
- Operate the service and sync your data across devices
- Sync tasks and calendar events (if enabled)
- Send reminders and notifications (if enabled)
- Manage your subscription and process payments
- Respond to support requests
- Maintain security and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
6. DATA SHARING
We do not sell your data.
We share data with the following service providers:
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Google (calendar sync, when you connect)
All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
To request deletion of your account and data, email kevtaihomes@gmail.com. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. INTERNATIONAL USERS
If you access Zero from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States.
9. SECURITY
We use industry-standard security practices. However, no system is 100% secure.
You use the service at your own risk.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
You may:
- Access your data (via the app or by request)
- Update or correct your information
- Delete your account and data
- Disconnect integrations (Google Calendar)
- Withdraw consent for optional features (notifications)

11. CHILDREN
Zero is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. CHANGES
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
