Privacy Policy

Zero Real Estate Execution LLC ("we," "us,") operates Zero Real Estate Execution ("Zero"), the application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect:

  • Account information (name, email)
  • Authentication data when you sign in with email or OAuth providers (e.g. Google, Apple), such as profile identifiers and email
  • App data you create (leads, escrows, tasks, notes)
  • Team-related data when you use teams: team membership, roles, and content shared with teammates (so they can collaborate on leads and tasks)
  • Calendar data (only if you connect Google Calendar)
  • Gmail metadata for Email Intake (beta, only if you connect Gmail and run a manual scan): sender, subject, date, label identifiers, message and thread identifiers, and a short preview snippet — not full email bodies
  • Device and log data (device type, app version, error logs)

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. TEAMS AND COLLABORATION

When you invite others to a team or assign a lead to a team, those users may see and edit the same leads, obligations, notes, and related information you choose to share. You control team assignment and sharing. Information visible to teammates is processed to provide collaboration features.

3. CALENDAR DATA

If you connect Google Calendar:

  • We access only the calendars you authorize
  • We read and write events related to Zero Real Estate Execution
  • We store sync tokens to keep data up to date

Zero Real Estate Execution never accesses, modifies, or deletes calendar events that are not explicitly related to escrow deadlines or tasks created through the app.

You can disconnect Google Calendar in Zero Real Estate Execution under Settings, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. GMAIL / EMAIL INTAKE (BETA)

Email Intake is an optional beta feature. If you connect Gmail and tap Scan now, Zero accesses your Gmail only at that moment to suggest real estate-related actions for your review.

  • Zero uses the Google Gmail API with the gmail.metadata scope only. This allows Zero to access email metadata and preview snippets, but not full email bodies
  • We read sender, subject, date, label identifiers, message and thread identifiers, and a short preview snippet provided by Gmail
  • We do not read full email bodies in this version of Email Intake
  • We do not send, delete, archive, label, or otherwise modify your Gmail messages
  • We store snippet and metadata needed to show suggestions you review — not your full inbox
  • Zero does not create tasks from email automatically. You must approve each suggestion before a task is created
  • When you scan, Zero may send sender, subject, snippet, and limited context about your escrows and tasks to Google Gemini to detect possible action items. We do not use your email content to train AI models
  • Zero scans email previews only. Some action items may be missed if they are not visible in the preview

You can disconnect Gmail in Email Intake settings. Disconnecting deletes stored Email Intake data from Zero and revokes our access on a best-effort basis. You may also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Account deletion also removes Gmail Intake data associated with your account.

Email Intake uses a separate Google OAuth project from Zero sign-in and Google Calendar.

5. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

If you enable notifications:

  • We store a push token or device identifier
  • Used only to send deadline reminders and task alerts

You can disable notifications at any time in the app Settings or through your device's notification settings.

6. PAYMENTS

Subscription payments may be processed by Stripe (web) or by Apple (App Store subscriptions on iOS). Which provider applies depends on how you subscribe.

  • Zero Real Estate Execution does not store your full credit card number for Stripe checkout
  • Stripe and Apple handle payment data under their respective terms and privacy policies

7. AI-POWERED FEATURES

Optional features (for example, summarization, follow-up suggestions, contract date extraction, or Email Intake scan suggestions) may send portions of your content to OpenAI and/or Google (Gemini and related APIs) to generate responses. For Email Intake, that may include sender, subject, and a short email preview snippet plus limited context about your escrows and tasks. We only use these features when you trigger them or enable them in settings. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed by those providers.

OpenAI and Google have their own privacy policies and terms. We use their services as subprocessors to deliver functionality, not for advertising.

8. HOW WE USE DATA

We use your data to:

  • Operate the service and sync your data across devices
  • Enable team collaboration when you use teams
  • Sync tasks and calendar events (if enabled)
  • Send reminders and notifications (if enabled)
  • Provide optional AI-assisted features when you use them
  • Suggest real estate tasks from Gmail previews when you connect Gmail and run a manual Email Intake scan (beta)
  • Manage your subscription and process payments
  • Respond to support requests
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

9. DATA SHARING AND SUBPROCESSORS

We do not sell your data.

We share data with the following categories of service providers:

  • Supabase (database and authentication)
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Google (calendar sync when you connect; sign-in when you use Google; Gmail API and AI APIs when you use those features)
  • Apple (sign-in when you use Sign in with Apple)
  • OpenAI (certain AI features when you use them)

We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and process data only as needed to provide the service.

10. DATA RETENTION

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app under Settings, or use our account and data deletion page for an email request link and details. You may also email support@thisiszero.app. Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days.

11. INTERNATIONAL USERS

If you access Zero Real Estate Execution from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on your use of the service as necessary to perform our contract with you, and on legitimate interests where applicable (for example, security and product improvement). You may have additional rights under local law (see below).

12. SECURITY

We use industry-standard security practices. However, no system is 100% secure.

You use the service at your own risk.

13. YOUR RIGHTS

You may:

  • Access your data (via the app or by request)
  • Update or correct your information
  • Delete your account and data (in-app, or via our deletion request page)
  • Disconnect integrations (Google Calendar, Gmail Email Intake)
  • Withdraw consent for optional features (notifications, AI features where applicable)

To exercise these rights, use the in-app settings or email support@thisiszero.app.

U.S. state privacy laws

Depending on where you live, laws in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states may grant you rights to access, delete, or correct personal information; to obtain a copy of certain data in a portable format; to opt out of certain processing (where applicable); and to appeal our response to a request, subject to statutory exceptions.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended. If we engage in activities that require opt-out rights in your state in the future, we will describe how to exercise them here.

To submit a request, email support@thisiszero.app from the address associated with your account (or follow any verification steps we provide). Authorized agents may submit requests as permitted by law.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, and to limit certain uses of sensitive data, subject to exceptions under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

To submit a request, email support@thisiszero.app. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf in accordance with applicable law.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you are in these regions, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at support@thisiszero.app to exercise these rights.

14. CHILDREN

Zero Real Estate Execution is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

15. CHANGES

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
